CHARLES & KEITH has arrived in bustling Chengdu, China. To celebrate the opening of this new flagship store — the first in China — we invited our favourite fashion insiders and trendsetters to a fabulous soirée at the beautifully designed space, which is located at MixC Shopping Mall. As Chengdu is known as the home of giant pandas, an eye-catching panda installation has been set up in the store to serve as a charming photo spot. An artfully minimalist product wall showcases the stars of the latest seasonal collection, including the Toni hobo bag and Charlot elongated top handle bag.
A party is only as awesome as its guests — and luckily for us, many of the shiniest stars of the fashion industry graced our opening event in all their stylish glory, making it a truly special occasion. Poised on the cutting edge of fashion, these glamorous individuals selected bags and shoes from our newly launched Fall Winter 2024 collection to complete their outfits. The stunning ensembles they created are testament to the sophistication and versatility of CHARLES & KEITH’s on-trend designs.

Our Fashion Friends
We were beyond excited to invite our favourite fashion friends to the opening of our very first flagship store in China. In Chengdu — renowned as the Design Capital of China — these trend-setting industry insiders and influencers enjoyed a curated experience that has special connections to our latest Fall Winter 2024 collection.
At the end of an exclusive tour of the new flagship store, each of our stylish guests picked out a fun blind box, which contained one of four limited-edition panda-themed keychains that pays homage to Chengdu’s famous animal icon. The guests also participated in personalisation activities to make their chosen CHARLES & KEITH pieces truly their own.
HANNAH CHENG BRADSHAW
Inspired by the biker-girl muse of our latest collection, Hannah looked edgy yet polished in a black leather jacket, a matching mini skirt and sheer stockings — she completed her look with the Charlot hobo bag and our zip-up platform loafers.
AIMEE CHENG BRADSHAW
Aimee gave the classic biker-girl aesthetic an elegant twist by dressing up in a black long-sleeved off-shoulder top and flared leather pants in caramel brown. The Charlot denim patchwork hobo bag and Rooney buckled block-heel Mary Janes gave her classy outfit a hint of grunge-inspired edge.
JUNEES TEOH
Dressed simply but boldly in a body-defining playsuit, Junees opted for timeless black accessories — the Toni knotted curved hobo bag and the Robbie platform knee-high boots — to complete her youthful yet sophisticated outfit.
CHAEWON KIM
Channelling her inner grunge-loving schoolgirl, Chaewon paired a black halter-neck mini dress with our zip-up platform loafers, which she wore with white calf socks. The Charlot denim patchwork hobo bag, with its striking grey-and-black finish, is the star of her street-chic look.
CLOE MAK
Leaning into the dark romance of black lace, Cloe’s take on the biker girl aesthetic is unconventional and unmistakeably feminine. The Charlot denim patchwork hobo bag is a statement carrier that amped up the wow factor of her already outstanding ensemble.
JADE
Dressed in an off-shoulder black top and heart-motif jeans, Jade injected understated glamour into her casual-chic outfit with the Charlot hobo bag in classy oat, which she paired with the white Rooney furry buckled block-heel Mary Janes — it was the details of her look that made it shine.
RELLE SHI
Playing with textures and proportions, Relle’s on-trend 90s-inspired outfit tick all the boxes. She accessorised with the Charlot denim patchwork hobo bag and Rooney buckled block-heel Mary Janes, which she wore with grey-topped black calf socks.
AUDREY CHOW
Eschewing the predictable all-black look, Audrey opted for a neutral but striking palette of black, grey and white. Pairing the white Rooney furry buckled block-heel Mary Janes with knee-high white socks, she hung the Charlot hobo bag in creamy oat on her arm — the result is coquettish with a subtle edge.
